C&R Mechanical Company was awarded the mechanical contract for the Pattonville School District project in January of 2008. The duration of this project was two years and included a mechanical upgrade for eleven education centers which includes, seven elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school, and one administrative building. The original plan was to span the workload over two years and complete the project during the summer of 2009. We were able to complete ten of the eleven schools in 2008 and finished the last school in August of 2009.

This project included the installation of twenty three roof top units, one hundred and forty unit ventilators, two water cooled chillers, two fluid coolers, several exhaust fans and louvers, plus all the ductwork and pipe to tie everything together. The major challenge of this project was managing the delivery of this equipment to all schools during a short window of time.

This project was a huge success for C&R Mechanical Company. By working as a team with SM Wilson, BRiC Partnership, and all of our subcontractors we were able to deliver a superior HVAC system to the Pattonville School District and create an excellent environment for the students to develop in.
